This file provides information for Shareware Distributors
and Disk Vendors who wish to distribute ELCUT 3.0C--Field
Analysis software for PC.

You are allowed to make as many copies of ELCUT as you wish;
give exact copies of the original version to anyone; and
distribute ELCUT in its unmodified form, as long as the
product is not distributed for profit.

If you distribute ELCUT, you agree to:
a) distribute all the associated files on the diskette(s)
together as a group;
b) inform the buyer that they are paying not for the
software, but for your distribution services, and if they
(the buyer) continue to use the program beyond the
evaluation period, that they are obligated to pay the
registration fee to TOR Cooperative.

     Suggested Short Description:
ELCUT is a simulation package solving plane and axisymmetric
problems of electrostatics, nonlinear DC magnetics, current
flow, nonlinear heat transfer and stress analysis at any PC,
starting with AT/286. ELCUT was developed to make field
calculations with maximum speed, ease and intuition
clearity. After an hour playing with ELCUT, you can solve
quite complicated problem in a minute. With the model
editor, you can define a finite element model quickly,
easily, and completely. You also can import model fragments
from AutoCAD or other CAD system. You can easily control the
mesh density. The smooth mesh in the whole region is
produced automatically and very quickly. The interactive
postprocessor will help you to analyze the results with
various forms of presentation: field lines, color maps, X-Y
plots, etc., calculate different surface and volume integral
quantities in the contours of arbitrary shape. It also can
produce the tabulated output to a file for subsequent use in
your own program. The solvers based on an innovative Domain
Decomposition method are much faster than any analogous
program for PC. Optimum domain decomposition is produced
automatically at the preprocessing stage. ELCUT incorporates
Russian programming quality with achievements of Russian
linear algebra school.
